The following you will find descriptions of the hotels we are planning to use for the 2000 Heart of Europe Tour. These are intended as examples for the 2001 Tour. Some of these same hotels may be used. Some of these descriptions were taken from the Official Hotel & Resort Guide. Others were taken from the brochures of the individual hotels. Image Tours, Inc. reserves the right to substitute similar or superior hotels for any reason and without prior notice, and to charge or credit the difference, as the case may be. The Overnight Schedule, which will be included in your Trip Documents Packet, will list the names, addresses, and telephone/fax numbers for the exact hotels on your tour.

Hotel Mercure
Lelystad, The Netherlands

This 4-star, moderate first-class hotel is located in the heart of the town of Lelystad, 35 miles northeast of Amsterdam. This is the center of the ‘New Land’ which has been reclaimed from the Zuider Sea. 86 pleasant, compact rooms, all with contempo- rary furnishings, bath or shower, toilet, color TV, radio, and telephone. An excellent restaurant, cozy bar, pleasant lounge, and elevator. The hotel is nicely located in a convenient shopping center.

Hotel Leusden
Leusden, The Netherlands
Located in the center of The Netherlands and 35 miles east of Amsterdam, the new Hotel Leusden features a beautiful lobby, the inviting Grand Cafe/Bar, and a spacious restaurant overlooking a terrace. Guest rooms on five stories can be reached by elevator. The rooms have private facilities, phone, cable and pay-TV, and even a personal safe.

Eurotel
Lanaken, Belgium
Located near the Dutch border this first-class hotel features a cozy restaurant, an old fashioned tea room, and a grand café/bar. For a small fee, guests may make use of the swimming pool, sauna, and fitness rooms, and the rooms all have modern, private bathrooms, television and telephone.

Best Western
Liège, Belgium
The Post Hotel lies just outside the university city of Liège, in Herstal. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, lobby bar, elevator, and outdoor pool with terrace. All rooms are equipped with private facilities, radio, telephone, color television, trouser press, and coffee/tea maker.

Hotel WARTBURG Mannheim
Mannheim, Germany

Located in the heart of Mannheim, a city at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar Rivers. Pedestrian shopping zone is only minutes away. 150 comfortably furnished rooms, all with private facilities. Cozy lounge area, hotel bar, and elevator.

Alpenhof Ringhotel
Augsburg, Germany

A modern, comfortable hotel located on the edge of Augsburg. This hotel has an elevator, specialty restaurant, indoor swimming pool, sauna, lounge area with fire place, and a game room. All rooms have private bathrooms, television, radio, and direct-dial telephone.

Puner Hotel Gasthof
Thaur bei Innsbruck, Austria

A traditional, family-run Austrian chalet situated amidst spectacular Tyrolean mountain scenery. All of the rooms have private facilities, telephone, and color TV. Elevator, restaurant, spa, bar, and terrace.

Hotel Maria Theresia
Hall in Tirol, Austria

This traditional, family-run hotel is located 10 km from Innsbruck. It has an elevator, restaurant, and an outdoor terrace. Its cozy rooms are furnished with a bath or shower, toilet, direct dial telephone, and satellite TV.

This hotel is also located just outside Innsbruck and its rooms have private facilities, telephone, and satellite television. The hotel has an elevator, inviting lobby, house bar, and a restaurant featuring Tyrolean specialites. The grounds have a large meadow, outdoor chess and bocce ball games, The nearby sports center has a pool and tennis courts.

This 4-star hotel is located in Bussolengo, Italy just north of Verona. It has 144 air conditioned rooms with private bathroom, satellite TV, mini-bar, safe box, phone, and fax. Other features include an Italian restaurant, disco bar, elevator, room service, and bank.

Lake Lucerne Region, Switerland

A family-owned hotel located in the peaceful, resort town of Giswil, just south of Lucerne. This is a superior tourist class hotel with sauna, restaurant, bar, and Italian cafe. Rooms have bath or shower, toilet, radio, TV, and telephone.
